Tales of Tanzania
From the endless plains of the Serengeti to the volcanic wonder of the Ngorongoro Crater. Tanzania offers a safari scale and spectacle that is unmatched.
Wilderness Without Horizons
Tanzania's Northern Circuit is arguably the most famous safari route in the world. It delivers the classic African experience: vast herds, dramatic landscapes, and incredible predator action.
Serengeti National Park
The name comes from the Maasai word 'Siringet', meaning 'the place where the land runs on forever'. It is the primary stage for the Great Migration.
The Great Migration
Millions of wildebeest and zebra traverse these plains. The herds are in the Southern Serengeti (calving) from Jan-Mar, and move North towards the Mara from June onwards.
Big Cat Capital
Home to the largest population of lions in Africa, along with cheetahs who thrive on the open plains, and elusive leopards in the riverine trees.
Ngorongoro Crater
The world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It forms a natural enclosure for a staggering diversity of wildlife.
- Big Five: One of the few places where you can see all Big Five in a single day, including the Black Rhino.
- Views: The view from the crater rim, 600m above the floor, is breathtaking.
- Dense Wildlife: Over 25,000 large animals live within the crater walls.
Tarangire & Lake Manyara
Tarangire National Park
Famous for its massive herds of elephants (up to 300 strong) and iconic Baobab trees. In the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the only water source, attracting incredible wildlife concentrations.
Lake Manyara National Park
A scenic gem at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its tree-climbing lions, huge troops of baboons, and the alkaline lake which attracts flocks of pink flamingos.
Combine Kenya & Tanzania
The ultimate East African adventure involves crossing the border to experience both the Mara and the Serengeti.
